Rotary Paints Colombia 2023

22 children participated in our 1st Painting Contest, which took place in Repelón (Atlántico) on February 9th, with the collaboration of our club members and the Mama Lina Foundation.

The central theme of the contest was "Peace", alluding to February, the Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention Month in the Rotary International calendar.  The winner was Andrea Bayuelo Messino, who participated with a beautiful representing drawing of peace together with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), the culture that should be a part of everything we do.

At the end of the activity, essential materials for 115 children’s education were provided to the Mama Lina Foundation, and painting kits were delivered to the 22 participating children, as well as a special kit for Andrea, the winner, who will also have the honor of seeing her drawing on a wall painting at the foundation’s headquarters, as part of our participation in ROTARY PAINTS COLOMBIA, an initiative led by the Public Image Coordination of Zone 25-A, to celebrate Rotary's 118th birthday on February 23rd.
